At the heart of Bolton, Markland Hill Racquets Club has long stood as a beacon of community spirit, active living, and family-friendly values. With a mission to offer affordable, inclusive racket sports and social opportunities for all—from curious four-year-olds to seasoned players in their 80s—the club knew it had a story worth telling. What they needed was a partner who could help them capture the essence of what makes Markland Hill special.

A Shared Vision

From the start, the collaboration between Markland Hill RacquetsClub and Big Egg Films was more than just about creating a promotional video—we were blown away by the community we witnessed and felt the pressure to try and show this!

 The club isn’t just a place to play tennis or squash; it’s a place where friendships are formed, where families bond, and where everyone, regardless of background or skill level, is welcome.

We hope the resulting film is a vibrant, sincere snapshot of life at Markland Hill. Through interviews and candid footage, viewers are taken on a journey through the club’s facilities and ethos.
